Our Goal:

Objectives
Expand access to fruits and vegetables for SNAP-eligible, low-income, and priority communities across Wisconsin by:
Organizing collaborative efforts to support and fund local, regional, and statewide nutrition incentive programs
Implementing the statewide Double Up Food Bucks Wisconsin program, under the guidance of Act 201
Securing a diverse portfolio of funding, including but not limited to, federal grant sources such as GusNIP-NI
Outreaching intentionally to HMoob, rural, Indigenous, BIPOC, refugee, elderly, disabled, gender non-conforming, women, non-native English speakers, and other socially disadvantaged local food producers and SNAP customers
Increasing local food purchasing through increased SNAP/EBT and nutrition incentive sales, thereby improving local food economies
Incorporating nutrition incentive programming within Wisconsin’s broader Food is Medicine movement and other aligned initiatives
